Intense ruby red with garnet red reflexes. Aroma is persistent with spicy, fruity and balsamic flavors. Firm, with a rich texture of close-knit tannins. Long, pleasant final sensation. Produced from hand-picked 100% Sangiovese Grosso di Toscana grapes, aged in toasted-French oak barriques for two years, in bottles for at least 6 months. For sale only 5 years after harvest year. Excellent for aging.
