Background:
The idea behind Innocent Bystander is to produce great value, food friendly wines that are not your run of the mill varietal blends. Taking fruit from various sources in Central Victoria, the team at Innocent Bystander is inspired to utilize and showcase the natural qualities of each region with their unique blends.
Winemaker Notes:
Innocent Bystander’s pale pink 375 ml serve of moscato comes dressed to impress. Flaunting a beautiful floral label, a convenient pop-top crown seal, and a gentle mouth-tingling fizz, this wine is sure to keep you cool this summer. This refreshing sipper offers delicious aromas of watermelon, red apples, and soft rose petal characters.
90 pts “A blend of gordo and black muscats, from old vines, bottled with a crown cap) Orangepink. Intensely fruity aromas of vibrant peach, apricot and nectarine, with a jasmine quality adding complexity. Nectarine and peach flavors show an enticing, creamy sweetness. An utterly delicious medium-bodied wine with a velvety, long finish. These little bottles make great single-portion servings, and at 5.3% alcohol it would be easy to go through plenty of them.”
