Bodegas Volver is a partnership between enologist Rafael Canizares and importer Jorge Ordonez. The 2008 Volver is made with Tempranillo grapes from a single 72 acre vineyard planted in 1967.
The Tempranillo grapes from this vineyard have produced a full flavored wine with hints of ripe plum and cherry as well as sweet spices. The 2008 Volver is complements a variety of meat dishes and can age in the bottle for many years.
The 2008 Volver was barrel-fermented and aged for 14 months in French oak.
