The Curra' vineyard is located in the area of Neive but very close to the area of Barbaresco ; this results in a wine rich in tannis, like all the wines from Barbaresco, but with the fruity, charming elegance of Neive.
The fermentation and the maceration on the skins normally takes about 18 days. No selected yeasts are used. The malolactical fermentation is completed in French barrels, where the wine remains for approximately 18-20 months. 25 % of the barrels used for aging this wine are new, the remaining 75 % have previously been used for up to 4 times. There is no filtering and no fining prior to bottling.
Color: Garnet red
Aroma: intense and powerful with a high level of alcohol, typical of the area.
Taste: Its full body warms the palate and is sustained by a good tannic
content which makes it a truly unique wine.
