2007 Barbera D'Asti "Baby" Cantine Sant Agata
Baby, the nickname we chose to distinguish the youngest and most simple of our Barberas! Baby is a wine that is youthful and vivacious, unaffected and sincere, in a word, natural; a cheerful and faithful friend with open arms ready to keep step with us day after day in that wonderfully supple and kaleidoscopic universe of Barbera! Its aromas are young and full, redolent of wild berries, its color a sparkling ruby red. Dry and surprisingly lively, its slight tartness intrigues the taster and delights the palate. The perfect wine for the entire meal, it is lovely with light dishes but its generous structure makes it fully capable of accompanying more complex presentations as well.
