Full on red fruit and spice from the Syrah, combined with structure provided by medium-to-old vine Grenache and Mourvedre growth. The Carignan holds up its end of the bargain with good balancing acidity and integrates nicely because it has been softened up during carbonic maceration. Finishes with a medium tannin, a gritty leather quality and medium smoky oak.
